We are looking for an efficient, courteous Host and Cashier who possesses excellent customer service skills. The Host/Cashier will scan the customer’s selections, ensure that prices and quantities are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers regarding products, promotions, or item location. You will also respond to complaints, process refunds or exchanges, and maintain a clean workspace.

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and high level of accuracy.
• Responsible, attentive to customer needs, and committed to providing excellent service.
• Ability to work standing for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, providing advice or recommendations.
• Seating customers per company policy.
• Operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
• Bagging or wrapping purchases to ensure safe transport.
• Following all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or specific items such as alcohol or cigarettes.
• Maintaining a clean workspace.
• Moving tables, chairs and highchairs regularly to accommodate guests’ needs.
• Carrying trays from kitchen window to front counter, dining room or parking lot as needed.
• Refilling ice bins, refilling beverages, cleaning restrooms, bussing tables, and other restaurant functions as needed.
