This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Store Manager position at Kay Jewelers in Deerbrook Mall, located in Humble, TX. The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales performance, achieve store goals, and ensure exceptional customer service experiences. Key responsibilities include team management, implementing retail loss prevention strategies, fostering a customer-focused environment, and maintaining operational standards while promoting company values.
Qualifications- Strong skills in Customer Service and a proven ability to ensure Customer Satisfaction
- Excellent Communication skills for engaging with diverse teams and customers
- Experience in Store Management, including team leadership and operations
- Knowledge or experience in Retail Loss Prevention practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, addressing challenges effectively
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus
- Previous retail experience, particularly in jewelry sales, is advantageous
- At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form
- Availability to work days, nights and weekends
