Preferred qualifications for this role require 4+ years of experience with:

• Fleet Diesel Mechanic Knowledge
• Engine Diagnosis
• Hydraulic Knowledge
• Computer Diagnostic
• Able to navigate through computer systems
• Valid Driver License
• Must have own tools
• Able to do 2‑week training in Arizona

• Starting salary of $34.00 + shift differential $3.00

• Monday – Friday every week
• 2nd Shift starting time 4:00pm
• Every other Saturday
• The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Humble, TX hauling site.

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority.
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.
