Preferred QualificationsPreferred qualifications for this role require 4+ years of experience with:
- Fleet Diesel Mechanic Knowledge
- Engine Diagnosis
- Hydraulic Knowledge
- Computer Diagnostic
- Able to navigate through computer systems
- Valid Driver License
- Must have own tools
- Able to do 2‑week training in Arizona
- Starting salary of $34.00 + shift differential $3.00

- 2nd Shift starting time 4:00pm
- Every other Saturday
- The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Humble, TX hauling site.
- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
- Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority.
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times.
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- 4 years of relevant work experience.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.
