DISPATCH CLERK
Job Title:
Dispatch Clerk
40‑hour work week with rotating schedule. Drivers operate 5am‑12am. Shift options:
Opener Shift (5am‑2pm), Mid Shift (9am‑5pm), Closing Shift (12pm‑9pm). Overtime rarely required. Weekend work may be needed. You will receive two days off per week based on the rotation.
- Rip and assign cards to board.
- Send and assign pick‑ups to drivers.
- Report missed pick‑ups.
- Log seals on shared drive.
- Answer calls from customer service and drivers.
- Other duties as required and assigned.
- Minimum 6 months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
