In this position, you will be responsible for operating machinery in municipal water treatment facilities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your strong math skills will come into play as you perform calculations relevant to water flow and chemical usage. Collaboration with different departments and remote monitoring of rural facilities will be a key part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate mobile equipment and tools within the facilities
• Manage performance and troubleshoot abnormalities
• Read blueprints to guide operational decisions
• Assist with remote system monitoring for rural facilities
• Ensure adherence to safety and chemical standards
Requirements:
• Valid Level III or IV Water Treatment certification
• Hold a Class 5 or G driver's license
• Minimum three years of industry experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience working in confined spaces
