This role is suited for licensed Journeyperson Mechanics in Heavy Duty, Automotive, or Truck and Transport fields. Key duties include maintaining buses, overseeing apprentice mechanics, and performing safety inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on company bus fleet
• Rapidly respond to service breakdowns
• Support shop management in maintaining schedules
• Carry out necessary Government Inspections
• Guide Apprentice Mechanics and suggest training needs
Requirements:
• Valid Journeyperson Ticket in relevant mechanic areas
• 2-5 years of experience preferred
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Safety Inspection Certification through SGI is desirable
• Strong computer skills and required hand tools
