Sanitation Team Member

Job Summary

Bongards' Creameries is seeking a Sanitation Team Member based out of our Humboldt facility. The Sanitation team member is responsible for the overall sanitation of the plant and equipment associated with the Loaf, Slice, Bulk and 5lb Line.

• Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures and other SOPs
• Break down equipment, clean and sanitize work areas
• Set up equipment for inspection and start up
• Safe operation of high-pressure hoses
• Ongoing Chemical, GMP and HACCP training
• Powered Industrial Truck training and certification
• Manage multiple sanitation assignments
• Work in a safe and proficient manner
• Other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent Math and Reading skills
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of Powered Industrial Trucks
• Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, other Quality guidelines
• Must maintain highest quality standards for plant and equipment cleanliness
• Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs

• Night Shift 10:00pm to 6:00am Sunday - Friday, occasional Saturday
