Job Summary
Bongards' Creameries is seeking a Day Shift Bulk Poucher Operator based out of our Humboldt facility. The Poucher Operator is responsible for verification, operation, resupply and basic maintenance of the Pattyn Box Maker/ Bag Sealer Machine on the Bulk line.
Duties and Responsibilities- Operation of Pattyn box maker / bag sealer machine
- Ensure boxes are taped correctly on lower side and fill out related paperwork
- Monitor the quality of the boxes, bags and communicate to other operators
- Ensure pouches are properly sealed at bottom edge
- Keep immediate work area neat and in order
- Work in a safe and efficient manner
- Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
- All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties
- Some mechanical aptitude
- Be coachable and able to work in a team
- Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines
- Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
- Must be able to lift up to 55lbs
- Day Shift 5:45am to 6:00pm Monday - Friday
