Position: Veterans Home - Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are hiring for all three shifts (7 AM - 3 PM, 3 PM - 11 PM, 11 PM - 7 AM) at an exciting and fast‑paced nursing facility in Humboldt, TN. The position is at the Tennessee State Veterans’ Home, a long‑term care and skilled nursing facility dedicated to caring for Tennessee veterans and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Administer personal care to assigned residents (bathing, feeding, daily hygiene, toileting, lifting, turning, and repositioning).
  • Assist licensed nurses and team members in meeting residents’ needs.
  • Work independently and make decisions when circumstances warrant.
Qualifications

Candidate must have a current & active Nursing Certification. Must be a caring individual willing to assist in any way possible to provide a safe and comfortable environment for residents. Ability to work independently and make decisions when circumstances warrant. Must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, families and visitors. Must be able to read and understand standard English.

Educational

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Certifications and Licenses

Current and active Nurse Aide Certification.
