Supervisor, RN

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to residents.
• Work as part of the nursing team to assess resident needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
• Follow established standards of nursing practices and implement facility policy and procedures.
• Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiate corrective action as needed.
• Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to the nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action.
• Assume responsibility for compliance with federal, state and local regulations within the assigned unit.
• Administer and document direct resident care, medications and treatment per physician's orders and accurately record all care provided.
• Promptly report changes in residents' conditions to the physician, Director of Nursing, responsible party, and take follow-up action as necessary.

• Nursing Diploma (ASN or BSN).
• TN registered nursing license in good standing.
• Experience in geriatric long‑term care is preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
