FSQA Technician - 1st Shift- Humboldt, TN

Overview

FSQA Technician role focused on ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality through physical and visual product and process inspections, accurate documentation, and timely corrective actions.

• Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
• Document and calculate results accurately.
• Take corrective action as needed, including alerting personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting results to management.
• Handle additional assignments as requested.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1 year in the food manufacturing industry or related Quality Assurance experience.
• Communication:
  Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Special
  
  Skills:
  • Ability to complete Tyson paperwork.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate hourly workforce.
  • Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.
  • Math and organizational skills; ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to perform under stress; flexibility to work where and when needed.

• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Stand on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours per day.
• Work in temperatures typically ranging from 30–90 °F in cold/hot environments.
• Work in wet environments; repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing, and pulling.
• Climb step ladders or stairs; reach high and low levels regularly.
• Overtime and weekend work as needed.
• Lock Out Tag Out certification may be required.
