Diesel Mechanic Maint 2nd Shift; B Shift Humboldt Truck Shop

Job Overview

This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on diesel engine trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Sunday to Thursday, sometimes Fridays, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Second shift (United States of America).

• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting and reaching are required.
• Lifting 40+ pounds is required.
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders.
• Frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance.
• The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform these physical requirements with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be able to work in all-weather/climate conditions from very cold to very hot.
• Must be able to work in a dusty environment.

• Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the application work history section or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
• 90‑day wait period from last termination date.
• 3X rule: candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3 times before.
