Our client is seeking mechanically inclined individuals to join their team as Field Service Technicians. No prior transformer experience is required. They provide extensive paid training to help you develop specialized skills and build a long-term career in the power industry.
What You’ll DoAs a Field Service Technician, you’ll travel to customer sites across the United States to inspect, repair, and rebuild critical mechanical components used in electrical power systems.
Responsibilities include:- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild mechanical assemblies.
- Replace worn or damaged components using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and service manuals.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and retrofit projects.
- Perform mechanical inspections and troubleshooting.
- Complete service reports and document work performed.
- Work alongside experienced technicians while developing your skills.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using hand and power tools.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
This position requires travel throughout the United States approximately 80% of the time, with most trips lasting about one week and back home on the weekends. When not traveling, technicians work from the Humboldt, TN shop.
