What You’ll Do- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on designated equipment following established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Complete in‑house service, repair, and maintenance activities based on technical qualifications.
- Lead LTC retrofit projects from planning through completion.
- Assemble spare parts, replacement components, and subassemblies for service and repair work.
- Prepare accurate technical service reports and communicate findings to internal teams.
- Coordinate service assignments, including documentation required for invoicing and project completion.
- Support transformer assembly, oil processing, testing, and both internal and external installation activities.
- Evaluate equipment performance, assist with high‑voltage testing, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide product expertise to colleagues and cross‑functional teams.
- Performance of repair and maintenance work
- Independent performance of (in‑house) repairs and maintenance
- Technical service reports
- Monitoring and evaluation of high voltage tests
- Production and assembly of spare parts and reserve partial assembly groups
- Problem assessment regarding OLTC units
- Provision of specialised support for colleagues
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, repair, or installation of industrial electrical or power equipment.
- Technical training (electrical engineering, machine construction, mechatronics)
- Additional language skills
- Customer orientation
- Assessment, prioritisation, and planning of customer inquiries.
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Willingness to travel
