Toddler Lead Teacher
The Goddard School® of Hershey is seeking a caring, dependable, and experienced Toddler Lead Teacher to join our professional early childhood education team. Using our proprietary Wonder of Learning® program, you will create a nurturing, engaging classroom where infants and toddlers feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field strongly preferred; candidates with a Child Development Associate credential will also be considered
- Two to three years of experience in a licensed early childhood education setting preferred
- Lead teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Patient, dependable, professional, and able to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Ability to obtain and maintain all Pennsylvania-required child care clearances and background checks
- Ability to meet licensing, health, and safety requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds while caring for and supervising children
Lead Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences using the Wonder of Learning® curriculum
- Provide responsive, individualized care that supports children's routines and overall development
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, organized, and inclusive classroom
- Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about children's experiences and progress
- Observe and document children's development to guide classroom planning
- Use positive guidance strategies that support social-emotional growth
- Lead and support classroom team members while collaborating with school leadership
- Follow all licensing, health, safety, and supervision requirements
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
