Position: PT Cashier - 6279

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this job is to scan and/or enter numbers on the register, lift and move goods, make change, bag orders, and perform special projects as directed including restocking returns, replenishing front‑end items (candy, gift cards, and snacks), cleaning, and assisting with carts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Promptly review the work schedule and verify equipment and supplies at the start of the shift, complying with PPE requirements.
  • Block aisles, set up checkout areas, and set up displays as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Tally items, process payments, and make change.
  • Bag items and place bags into carts as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Can understand and communicate company policies and safety regulations.
  • Meet ergonomic and physical requirements and physical base scores, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to use or learn the equipment and tools used in this role.
  • Complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
  • Perform all job functions safely.
  • Meet the company performance standards, including regular attendance.
  • Agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
  • Have technical training (job‑specific requirement).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Shift hours: minimum 4‑hour shifts or more based on business needs.
  • Job cycles: continual max.
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
  • Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Maximum pull static: 20 lbs.
