About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager - Southeast is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence within the southeastern United States. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans tailored to the region's unique market dynamics, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives. The manager will lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving revenue targets and customer satisfaction.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders is essential to identify new business opportunities and enhance customer loyalty. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in contributing to the company’s long-term success by maximizing sales performance and market share in the Southeast region.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a regional or territory management capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of the Southeast U.S. market and its business environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the specific industry relevant to the company’s products or services.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage remote or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Professional sales certifications such as Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP) or similar.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve regional revenue goals.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the regional sales team to enhance their performance and professional growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and client engagement.
  • Manage key customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales initiatives with company objectives.
  • Monitor sales metrics and prepare detailed reports to track progress and inform decision-making.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities within the Southeast region.
