Technical Content Writer

We are seeking a Technical Content Writer to support our energy efficiency solutions by turning complex technical concepts into clear, actionable content for customers, partners, and internal teams. This role sits at the intersection of product and marketing, enabling product adoption and sales through high-quality documentation, implementation guides, and educational resources for energy efficiency systems and services.

Key responsibilities:

Create and maintain technical documentation for energy efficiency platforms and services, including product guides, API and integration documentation, configuration instructions, and feature overviews. Develop clear implementation and onboarding guides for building owners, facility managers, and channel partners that explain how to deploy, integrate, and use energy monitoring and optimization solutions. Produce internal SOPs, operational manuals, and cross-department FAQs that document sales, procurement, and compliance workflows related to energy efficiency projects.

Write SEO-optimized long-form content (blog posts, white papers, knowledge base articles) on topics such as building automation, data analytics for energy savings, system integration, and performance reporting. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, solution architects, and operations teams to translate system capabilities, technical requirements, and regulatory constraints into user-friendly content. Build and refine documentation structures, templates, and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across product documentation, knowledge bases, and marketing assets.

Optimize content for search and self-service, using analytics and feedback from customers, sales, and support to continually improve documentation quality and coverage. Maintain and update content in documentation and marketing platforms (e.g., Word Press, Hub Spot, Jira/Confluence, internal wikis), ensuring version control and cross-team visibility.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelors in English, Communications, Marketing or related.
• 2 years of experience in technical and marketing content writing within SaaS, B2B technology.
• Demonstrated ability to create product guides, integration documentation, help articles, FAQs, and process documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong background in SEO writing and content strategy for web, blog, and knowledge base properties, with an emphasis on educational and implementation-focused content.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, operations, HR, compliance) to gather information, validate technical details, and align content with business goals.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical and procedural information while preserving accuracy.
• Familiarity with HTML/Markdown and common documentation and project tools such as Jira, Confluence, Word Press, and Hub Spot.
