Shipping & Receiving Clerk

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prioritising in-house activities according to capacity and demand to ensure that deadlines can be met.
• Checking identity and quantity based on available documents as well as conducting visual quality inspections to enable Worker Assembly and Manufacturing to perform immediate and error-free assembly/production.
• Ensuring demand-driven picking to ensure smooth and error-free goods provision.
• Transporting and delivering goods at the place of destination to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Executing postings in the EDP systems to ensure a reliable data structure.
• Creating accompanying documents.
• Identifying deviations and initiating or implementing countermeasures to ensure material supplies to internal and external customers.
• Packaging and securing goods in a manner suitable for transportation according to requirements.
• Overseeing familiarisation for new employees.

• High School Diploma
• Basic Windows and Microsoft Office knowledge
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to consistently remain self-motivated
• Day-to-day work activities are prioritized appropriately within work routines
• Excellent oral, written and communication skills
• Able to work closely within a team and contribute individually
