Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time NP or PA with established training in women's hormone health to join our integrative care team. This is a focused clinical role for a provider who can confidently evaluate and support women through hormonal transitions, sexual health concerns, preconception, and fertility-related needs using a thoughtful blend of conventional, functional, and integrative medicine.

Our care model is relationship-based, individualized, and grounded in deep listening. We look beyond isolated symptoms to understand patterns across physiology, lifestyle, stress, environment, relationships, and each patient's goals. If you want the time to think, collaborate, educate, and build truly personalized plans, you may be a strong fit for our team.

This role begins part-time, with room to grow. Providers who build strong patient relationships and demonstrate consistent, high-quality care are welcomed to expand their hours and schedule as their patient panel grows.

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide part-time outpatient care focused on women's hormone health, including perimenopause, menopause, menstrual and hormonal symptoms, and healthy aging.
  • Evaluate and support sexual health and wellness concerns, including changes in libido, arousal, comfort, and other symptoms that may be related to hormonal, physical, emotional, or lifestyle factors.
  • Provide integrative preconception and fertility support, including health optimization, cycle and symptom evaluation, appropriate laboratory testing, patient education, and coordination with OB-GYN or reproductive endocrinology specialists when indicated.
  • Conduct comprehensive histories and assessments, reviewing symptoms, prior treatment, medications, supplements, lifestyle, sexual health, reproductive goals, and patient preferences.
  • Order and interpret appropriate laboratory testing, integrating results with the patient's symptoms, history, and full clinical picture.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans that may include lifestyle, nutrition, supplements, medications, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), when clinically appropriate and within scope.
  • Educate patients about benefits, risks, alternatives, expectations, and follow-up needs to support informed decision-making.
  • Monitor outcomes, adjust treatment plans, document clearly, and coordinate care or referrals as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with Dr. Benton and our integrative care team in a supportive, no-ego environment.
Qualifications
  • Required:

Formal education, certification, mentorship, or comparable structured training in women's hormone evaluation and treatment.
  • Current, unrestricted NP or PA license and board certification in good standing, with eligibility to practice in North Carolina.
  • For PAs and NPs practicing without full independent authority, ability to enter into a collaborative or supervising practice agreement as required under North Carolina law.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience with BHRT evaluation, prescribing, monitoring, and patient counseling.
  • Experience addressing women's libido and sexual health concerns in a professional, sensitive, and patient-centered manner.
  • Knowledge of preconception health, menstrual cycle evaluation, fertility-related concerns, and appropriate referral pathways.
  • Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to safe, evidence-informed, individualized care.
  • A patient-centered approach that respects informed consent and balances conventional and integrative options without dogma.
