Weekend Night Shift Nurse
Work Schedule:
6pm- 6am We need a weekend night shift nurse for this outage
Assess injuries and illnesses to determine appropriate treatment (first aid, basic life support, treatment, or referral).
Provide first aid for injuries and illnesses during normal working hours.
Document initial assessment/treatment and each subsequent treatment/contact until healed/released.
Alert vendor's management of vendor visit for injury or illness.
Notify off-site medical facility of injury coming to them for evaluation/treatment.
Registered Nurse providing first-aid care onsite as needed. The Occupational Health Nurse treats and provides professional nursing care to workers or people who become ill or injured on premises of business, industrial plant, or other establishment. Takes and documents patient's vital signs, treats wounds, and evaluates physical condition of patient. Contacts physician and hospital to arrange for further medical treatment when needed.
Requires RN license and 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Maintains record of people treated, and prepares accident reports and insurance forms. May assist physician in physical examination of new Workers.
