What If Your Next NP Job Actually Gave You the Autonomy to Practice?

If you’re a Nurse Practitioner who loves geriatrics, rehabilitation, complex patients, and making a measurable difference in people’s lives, this may be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

Kinetic Medical Group (KMG) is looking for a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to join our growing team and serve patients in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Huntersville, NC.

This isn’t a position where you simply check boxes and move from patient to patient.

You’ll become a trusted clinical leader within the facility — working alongside nursing, therapy, administration, patients, and families to help patients recover, maintain function, avoid unnecessary hospitalizations, and ultimately achieve a better quality of life.

And because KMG is nurse practitioner-owned, we understand what NPs actually need to thrive: clinical autonomy, flexibility, meaningful work, competitive compensation, and a team that has your back.

Why You’ll Love This Role Practice With Real Clinical Autonomy:
  • You’ll have the opportunity to think like a provider, not just follow a protocol.
  • You’ll manage the rehabilitation and physical medicine needs of an entire patient population, make meaningful clinical decisions, identify problems early, and develop individualized plans of care.
  • You’ll have the freedom to use your experience and clinical judgment while still having a team of like-minded providers available for support.
Build Relationships That Actually Matter:
  • In geriatrics, you have the opportunity to see the whole person — not just the diagnosis.
  • You’ll get to know your patients, their families, their goals, their challenges, and what matters most to them.
  • You’ll also develop strong relationships with the nurses, therapists, administrators, and staff who care for these patients every day.
  • You won’t be just another provider rounding through the building. You'll become part of the team.
Make a Facility-Wide Impact:

Imagine being able to improve care for an entire population of patients — not just one patient at a time.

You’ll have opportunities to help develop and lead initiatives focused on:

  • Reducing avoidable hospitalizations.
  • Improving rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Preventing complications.
  • Improving functional status and quality of life.
  • Strengthening communication between providers, nursing, therapy, and families.
  • Improving preventative care and overall patient outcomes.

Your clinical decisions can have an impact that extends far beyond the exam room.

What You Can Expect at KMGCompetitive Compensation:

$115,000–$140,000 annual salary

Work-Life Balance:

We believe being a great provider shouldn't require sacrificing your life outside of work.

Schedule Flexibility:

Our providers have built-in flexibility to help create a schedule that works for them.

Career Growth:

We're growing — and high-performing providers have opportunities to grow with us.

NP-Owned & NP-Focused:

Work alongside professionals who understand the unique challenges and opportunities of practicing as an NP.

Meaningful Work:

Make a tangible difference in the lives of older adults and rehabilitation patients every single day.

What You'll Do:

As a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Nurse Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to geriatric and rehabilitation patients within the SNF setting.
  • Evaluate and manage patients' rehabilitation and physical medicine needs.
  • Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, administration, and families.
  • Identify and address medical issues before they become emergencies.
  • Participate in preventative care and quality-improvement…
