• We are looking for a Collaborative Front-End Engineer who excels at building robust, scalable web applications. You are someone who takes pride in code quality and understands that the best features are the result of consistent integration, active peer review, and a deep mastery of the modern JavaScript ecosystem. While you are a front-end developer first, you are excited by the challenge of integrating AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) into functional user interfaces, ensuring these powerful tools are accessible and performant for the end-user.

• This position will collaborate with members of our development and product team to create and implement features for our web-based economic impact analysis software. This position will participate in architectural planning and code reviews. This position involves front-end programming, interfacing with API s to access business logic and database layers, and AI/LLM agent development and prompt engineering.

• Experience working with modern component libraries like Material UI.
• Understanding of CSS including modern CSS-in-JS approaches like Styled Components.
• Familiarity with modern Front End build tools like webpack.
• Experience with state management tools like MobX.

• LLM Agent and prompt engineering experience for customer facing applications.
• Experience or familiarity with C# as a bonus.
• API development to extend existing services.
• Experience with Lang Chain, Lang Graph and Lang Smith.
• Experience with AI assisted code generation tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, Jetbrains AI, etc.)

• College degree and 1-3 years relevant experience, or 5 years relevant working experience

IMPLAN is a remote workplace. This role requires occasional travel to our Huntersville, NC office or other locations for team meetings and client visits
