MOT Technician

We are seeking a qualified MOT Technician to join a well-established dealership in Christchurch, Dorset. The successful individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and MOT testing, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.

• Competitive salary of approximately £35,000, with earnings potential up to £45,000 including bonuses
• Monday to Friday working week, 42 hours

• Conducting MOT tests in accordance with current legislation and manufacturer standards
• Diagnosing vehicle faults and performing repairs to the highest standard
• Servicing vehicles efficiently to meet dealership and manufacturer requirements
• Maintaining accurate and detailed service records
• Assisting with workshop operations and ensuring standards are upheld
• Communicating effectively with customers regarding repairs and vehicle condition
• Ensuring all work is completed within set time frames

• Relevant qualifications, including MOT Tester certification
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and/or MOT Tester
• Strong diagnostic skills and technical expertise
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Valid driving licence
