Position Summary Information

Key Responsibilities

Due to strong enrollment demand, Juniata College is pleased to invite applications for open rank, tenure-track positions for in-person teaching faculty with instructional experience in various business disciplines. Appointments begin in August 2026. Juniata College is a selective, nationally ranked, liberal arts institution located in south central Pennsylvania, highly regarded for academic excellence ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).). The Department of Accounting, Business, and Economics is IACBE-accredited and offers undergraduate Programs of Emphasis (POEs) in over ten areas as well as graduate programs in Accounting, Business Administration, and Organizational Leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching assignments will include undergraduate through graduate-level courses in accounting, operations management, international business, sports management, human resources, and management. The successful candidates will also be able to teach introductory business courses as needed. These positions will require a student-centered approach to teaching and advising, assistance with student recruiting and career development, participation in scholarly and professional development activities, and contribution to the development of the division and college.

Position Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess an MBA; D.B.A. or Ph.D. in a preferred business-related field. An ideal candidate will possess teaching experience in business disciplines in an undergraduate classroom setting, related professional experience, a willingness to design and deliver new courses and programs, a flexible attitude toward teaching assignments, and a strong commitment to continuous learning.

Supervision Required/Given

This position reports to the Accounting, Business, and Economics Division Leader.
