Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This position is fully remote. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

Job Description:

Manage accounting close
Prepare and manage month end checklist, including balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
Establish, prepare, and maintain sub-ledger reconciliations (prepaid, fixed assets, bank)
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and audit/tax adjustments
Assist in the internal/external management and financial reporting processes
Prepare all year-end schedules for audit and tax purposes

Requirements:

Strong analytical ability and moderate to advanced Excel skills
CPA preferred
Prefer experience within SaaS, proptech and/or fintech industry with understanding of related accounting policies (ASC 606, software capitalization)
Experience with Sage Intacct and Salesforce desired

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience
Big 4 and/or large regional CPA firm (preferred)
