• Design engaging, phenomenon-based lessons that spark curiosity and drive student inquiry
• Bring science to life through hands‑on labs, investigations, and engineering challenges
• Guide students in thinking like scientists—asking questions, analyzing data, and constructing evidence‑based explanations
• Use innovative, NGSS‑aligned assessments to measure deep understanding, not just memorization
• Build a collaborative classroom culture where all students feel confident exploring and sharing ideas

• A strong commitment to three‑dimensional NGSS learning (Science Practices, Core Ideas, Crosscutting Concepts)
• Opportunities to design meaningful, real‑world learning experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Science Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid teaching credential/certification (or eligibility)
• Experience teaching middle and/or high school students preferred
• Familiarity with or commitment to implementing the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
