We're looking for a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our Huntington Beach engineering team and help make it happen.

- Designing and refining 2D/3D CAD models and drawings in Solid Works to exacting standards
- Performing GD&T tolerance analysis per ASME Y14.5 to ensure precision and manufacturability
- Designing and managing the manufacture of fixtures and tools for production
- Contributing to the development of implantable subsystems — including the pump, fluid and electrical connectors, drive lines, and implant tools
- Managing and maintaining the product data management (PDM) system
- Collaborating with external suppliers on prototype fabrication and assembly
- Supporting verification and validation testing
, risk analysis, and design control activities - Contributing to regulatory submissions and scientific publications
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical design, development, and manufacturing
- Substantial Solid Works proficiency — it's your tool of choice
- Strong command of ASME Y14.100 and GD&T (ASME Y14.5M)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Bonus points for: experience in medical devices or mechanical circulatory support
, PDM system management, familiarity with pFMEAs/dFMEAs and IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols, and strong technical writing skills
