We are looking for a skilled Quality Engineer

The role involves performing conformity and inspection functions required by 14 CFR Part 21 Certification Procedures for Products and Articles with focus on Sub Parts A, E, G, K, and O, and AC 21-43 Production under 14 CFR Part 21. The Representative must understand 14 CFR Part 183, be eligible to apply to the FAA for a Company DMIR, and maintain strong communication with the FAA.
SUMMARYOF JOB DUTIES

- Perform DMIR duties
- Must be extremely proficient in 14 CFR Part 21 Certification Procedures for Products and Articles with focus on Subparts A, E, G, K, and O
- Communicate effectively and maintain good relationships with the FAA
- Understand and be eligible for requirements of 14 CFR Part 183.31 and 183.51
- Understand Order 8000.95 Designee Management Policy
- Complete Form 8130‑3 Authorized Release Certificate, Airworthiness Approval Tag in accordance with FAA Order 8130.21
- FAA Form 8100‑1 Conformity Inspection Record, FAA Form 8130‑9 Statement of Conformity
- FAA Form 8130‑1 Application for Export Certificate of Airworthiness
- Maintain customer PMA licensing agreements
- Submit and obtain PMA supplements with the FAA
- Maintain Production Approval Holder standing with the FAA
- Communicate escapes and reportable nonconformances to the FAA
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field is required; combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Level I: 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Level II: 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Level III: 5-7+ years of relevant engineering experience with 1+ year leading or mentoring the work of assigned employees.
- 3-5+ years of direct experience.
- Extended or irregular hours may be required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Direction is provided for assignments in terms of desired outcome, timing, and budget. Work is reviewed or measured in terms of meeting organizational objectives and schedules.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY- Assists with coordination of adherence to organizational goals, operating policies, and budgetary guidelines.
- Develop and provide solutions to complex problems based on established precedents and consistent with organizational objectives.
Communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITSBase pay will vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, location, and experience, with internal equity considerations.
Salary Range Transparency: $95,000 - $110,000 annually.
