Senior Systems Engineer – Acoustic Programs

• Lead evaluation of customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
• Develop requirements and manage them in DOORS.
• Define and execute test plans for integration verification, data integrity, and performance; engage in system integration testing and support system acceptance testing.
• Define and track cost, schedule, and technical aspects of the project.
• Lead analysis to optimize total system-of-systems and/or system architecture.
• Lead and support cross-functional teams, working groups, programming, and customer meetings and technical design reviews.
• Prepare program briefings, status reports, and technical deliverables.
• Create and implement strategic approaches for program and business area decisions.
• Identify and track engineering performance metrics.
• Identify technical risks, issues, and opportunities; develop and execute plans for risk mitigation, issue resolution, and opportunity capture.

• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (required U.S. Citizenship).
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent qualification directly related to the work statement.
• Experience with the system engineering development lifecycle (V-Model).
• Knowledge of MBSE concepts and application.
• Experience with Requirements Management Tools (e.g., DOORS).
• Experience with software architecture and development processes.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• 7+ years of related systems engineering experience.

• Experience with anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), or maritime intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems.
• Experience supporting multiple platforms used for underwater acoustics, including P-3, P-8A, MH-60R, submarines, and Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles (UAVs).
• Experience with export-related material and international customers.
• Experience on a U.S. Navy program.
• Experience applying MBSE concepts to the engineering lifecycle.

Pay range for Senior (Level
4) is $ – $. The total rewards package includes competitive base pay, variable compensation, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off.
