, you’ll be the first point of contact for individuals seeking a new beginning. Your role is to compassionately guide prospective clients through the initial intake process, helping them take the first step toward lasting recovery.
You’ll be gathering critical background information, assessing treatment needs, and helping patients feel heard, valued, and supported - all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct compassionate, comprehensive pre‑admission assessments
- Build meaningful rapport with clients from all walks of life
- Accurately document substance use, mental health, and psychosocial history
- Collaborate with clinical and admissions teams to ensure seamless transitions
- Manage multiple assessments while maintaining attention to detail
- Prioritize urgent cases with calm, clarity, and care
- Uphold confidentiality standards (HIPAA compliance)
- Adapt to fast‑paced, ever‑changing schedules and needs
- Experience in behavioral or mental health, addiction recovery, or intake (preferred)
- A heart for helping people - and the communication skills to match
- Strong organization and time management in a fast‑moving environment
- Excellent writing and documentation skills
- Tech‑savvy (familiar with EHR systems or ready to learn)
- Flexibility, reliability, and a team‑first attitude
- Collaborative, mission‑driven, and supportive culture
- Frequent interaction with clients (in‑person or virtually)
- May involve extended screen time and back‑to‑back assessments
- Flexibility required to meet client and organizational needs
