Job Title:Branch Manager - Aerospace Fastener Distributor
Reporting To: President
Position OverviewThe Branch Manager will oversee the operations of our aerospace fastener distribution branch. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards, maintaining quality control, and providing strong leadership across various operational areas.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe/compliant work environment and adherence to aerospace industry standards.
- Leadership Oversight: Provide leadership for warehouse operations, quality, and customer service.
- Quality Management: Implement and enforce ISO procedures to guarantee product quality and compliance.
- Operational Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on efficiency and performance enhancements.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely processing and shipment of orders, meeting all deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Optimize storage and inventory handling, ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards.
- Team Development: Train and supervise personnel, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and other departments to coordinate activities and manage customer demand.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to branch operations.
- Contract and Quotation Management: Oversee contract reviews, manage the quote process, and provide technical support to customers.
- Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in aerospace engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Operations/Sales Management
Experience:
A minimum of three years of experience in operations and/or sales management in a supervisory role, preferably within the aerospace distribution sector. - Quality Management Systems: Proven experience in managing operations under an ISO, TS, or equivalent Quality Management System, preferably specific to aerospace.
- Fastener Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fastener and fastener quality standards specific to aerospace applications is preferred.
- LEAN and Quality Methodologies: Strong understanding of LEAN, methodologies applicable to aerospace operations, is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint at an intermediate level to manage data and reports.

Ability to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and team members across all levels of the organization. - Communication
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration. - Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills to manage operational challenges.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to handle essential warehouse duties including driving a forklift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using handheld scanners.
- Valid Driver’s License: A good driving record and the ability to pass physical examination requirements may be necessary.

Base Salary Target is 100-110k.
Work Hours are 8:00- 4:30 M-F
