Russell Fischer Car Care is looking for a motivated, hands‑on Assistant Manager to support operations across our Huntington Beach and Huntington Harbour locations. This dual‑site leader will play a key role in daily operations, employee development, customer service excellence, and maintaining our high brand standards. • Assist site managers with daily operations and execute opening/closing procedures.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high‑performing team.
• Provide training and oversight to employees, acting as a role model.
• Ensure staff maintain a clean and safe environment for the team and guests.
• Provide excellent customer service, resolve complaints, and build customer relationships.
• Guide customers on services, upsell memberships, and process payments.
• Ensure positive customer experiences, leading to increased car volume.
• Monitor inventory of chemicals, equipment, and supplies, and manage stock levels.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure equipment is properly functioning and assist in performing scheduled maintenance.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Ensure safe operating procedures are followed for employees and customers.
• Troubleshoot technical, production, or customer issues.

• You love cars and the automotive industry!
• You have leadership experience in car wash, retail, or service operations.
• You can multi‑task and have attention to detail; priority‑setting and time management are your strong suits.
• You have mechanical aptitude and an ability to understand equipment maintenance.
• You know how to lead and develop teams.
• You are relentless in your desire to grow and learn new skills.
• You have a track record of effective communication and conflict management.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Prior experience in a leadership or shift‑lead role (car wash, automotive, C‑Store, or hospitality preferred)
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• High energy, positive attitude, and the ability to motivate a team
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable providing feedback and holding people accountable
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and peak business hours
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to rotate between Huntington Beach and Huntington Harbour daily/weekly
