• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Direct and supervise other nursing personnel while maintaining professional standards in Telemetry.
• Serve as the primary provider for patients in the Emergency Department, communicating clinical changes to physicians and responding to treatment changes promptly.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA regulations and report child or adult abuse to appropriate agencies, Hospital Social Worker.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute‑care hospital setting; ER setting preferred.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN within 12 months of hire and maintained thereafter.
• EDAP certified facilities:
  Completion of Emergency Pediatric Course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.
• Non‑OB facilities: NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 12 months of hire required.

Estimated total compensation range: $49.39–$66.39 per hour, adjusted based on experience, education, and credentials.
