The Certified Nursing Assistant in the Behavioral Health department is a licensed assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non‑critical patients and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Education, Experience, Training

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate must be held upon hire.
• Must possess a current BLS certification upon hire and must keep it current.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute‑care hospital or physician’s office is preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.81 to $27.15. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection and will consider the applicant’s skills, experience, education, credentials and licensure.
