This role is part of our Tactical Missiles and Integrated Defense Systems business, which designs and develops integrated missile and defense systems that support critical missions across air, land, and sea. We combine comprehensive analysis, engineering, manufacturing, and program execution capabilities to deliver mission-tailored solutions supporting the defense of the United States and its allies.
As anNDT Technician I – Radiography, you will support nondestructive testing activities used to verify product quality and identify defects in accordance with established inspection methods and procedures. You will set up and calibrate NDT equipment, perform assigned radiographic inspections, document inspection results, and support specialized testing activities as needed.
This role also works closely with internal teams and clients to support safety, quality, production, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone.
Responsibilities- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment.
- Conduct inspections to verify product quality and identify defects using established NDT methods and procedures.
- Perform assigned radiographic inspections in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Organize, document, and report inspection results accurately and completely.
- Perform specialized NDT inspections as required.
- Support on-the-job training activities related to assigned NDT methods.
- Participate in client programs, planning sessions, and strategy discussions.
- Support client safety initiatives and incident investigations.
- Maintain compliance with applicable safety procedures and radiation-safety requirements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to perform assigned NDT tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively in low-lighting conditions.
- Some college education.
- One to two years of experience as a Level I NDT Technician or in a similar role.
- Certification or qualification in additional NDT methods such as:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Penetrant Testing (PT)
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout an eight-hour workday.
- Frequently perform repetitive motions.
- Regularly hold, grasp, and turn objects with the hands.
- Occasionally push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50 pounds, with a minimum lifting requirement of 35 pounds.
- Regularly reach overhead, at shoulder level, and below shoulder level.
- Ability to perform required work in low-light conditions.
