As a Security Officer-Patrol Driver Mall Center
in Huntington Beach, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and/or shoppers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking areas, entrances, storefronts, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor inquiries, directions, and traffic or parking-related concerns as assigned.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
