Pay: $17-$19 per hr
Original Security Services (OSS) is seeking a professional, reliable Security Officer for an overnight assignment at a busy Huntington Beach property.
Responsibilities- Maintain a professional, highly visible security presence.
- Monitor customers, employees, entrances, and surrounding areas.
- Remain standing and alert while the property is active.
- Conduct patrols and respond to incidents as needed.
- Assist with basic site needs when appropriate, such as taking out garbage for staff.
- Complete required activity and incident reports.
- Follow all site-specific post orders and OSS policies.
As business activity slows, officers may alternate between sitting and standing while continuing to actively monitor the property.
Requirements- Reliable transportation.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Ability to remain alert and professional throughout an overnight shift.
- No personal phone use while actively working the post or while customers are present.
- Must be eligible to obtain required Taser authorization/certification for this assignment.
- Willingness to wear a duty vest. Vest may be provided by OSS.
- Taser equipment may be provided subject to applicable requirements.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, mature, alert, professional, and takes security seriously.
This is not a position for someone who wants to sit on their phone for most of the shift. During active business hours, the officer must be visible, standing, attentive, and engaged with their surroundings.
