We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Backend Focus) to join our growing development team. You will architect and build scalable, distributed backend services using Microsoft technologies while working closely with cross‑functional teams across product, QA, and frontend engineering. The platform uses C#, ASP.NET, React, MSSQL, Redis, Azure, VB. We embrace AI‑assisted development as a core part of our engineering culture.

• Architect, design, and develop scalable, resilient backend services for high‑performing web applications.
• Ensure software quality and system performance through architectural decisions, code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Partner with the Product team to translate customer requirements into solutions that impact borrowers, customers, and internal users.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure comprehensive test coverage and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Leverage AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude, and Copilot to accelerate development, generate boilerplate, and improve code quality.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

• 5+ years of professional experience with .NET and C# (experience with ASP.NET,  preferred).
• Strong computer science fundamentals with expertise in architecture, object‑oriented programming, and system design.
• Experience building cloud‑based, distributed, resilient systems handling large, variable traffic.
• Strong understanding of database design and development with SQL Server;

• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools:
  Git, Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms Azure (preferred) or AWS.

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience front‑end development with React, Type Script.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and building AI‑native products.
• Experience in Mortgage, Private Lending, Fintech industry.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

The pay range for this role is: 150, USD per year (Huntington Beach, CA)
