Director Of Alumni Relations & The Forester Fund
Huntington University has an opening for Director of Alumni Relations & the Forester Fund. The Director of Alumni Relations and the Forester Fund provides direction and oversight to Alumni Relations and Engagement through listening, effective communication, personal interaction, and the organization of gatherings and special events. They will also lead all aspects of the Forester Fund including day of giving, phonathon, direct mail and donor contact programs to raise funds to support student scholarships.
In addition, the Director of Alumni Relations and the Forester Fund will maintain a portfolio of donors and future donors that support the University through the Pacesetter Society in giving to the Forester Fund.
- Must have a strong personal Christian commitment and faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to serve others.
- Must be committed to the mission of Huntington University as a comprehensive Christian College dedicated to educating men and women to impact our world for Christ.
- Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education, preferred.
- Positive interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Demonstrated administrative and supervisory skills.
- Commitment to continuous process improvement.
- Creativity, strong communication, organizational, time management skills.
- Commitment to stewardship of university resources.
- Strong networking skills.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Evening or weekend work availability as required.
- 2-4 years of experience preferred.

Work Schedule:
This is a full time, 12 month exempt position with benefits.
