Shuttleworth in Huntington, Indiana is seeking an Application Engineer to join our Engineering Team. In this role, you will handle requests for quotations (RFQ), generate CAD drawings, write descriptions of operation, and prepare written quotations for the customer, sales support and project coordination.

• Generate drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor to create a line layout.
• Apply a price to the line layout using a custom Excel template.
• Generate a Word document proposal/quotation via automated export from the Excel template.
• Support the sales effort (pre- and post-quote) via video conference calls and on-site customer visits. Assist sales with internal customer visits.
• Engage with Project Management, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering throughout the build cycle.

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; no previous experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong customer/people skills
• Creative, analytical and driven
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment – multi-tasking required
• Enjoys complex problem solving and collaboration - Proficient in mathematics
• Self-motivated
• Overnight travel approximately 5%–10%
• Basic computer skills:
  AutoCAD, Inventor, Excel, Word, Power Point
