JOB DESCRIPTION:
ADVANCED MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING CO-OPCo-op opportunity for Mechanical Engineering majors. Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering with a dual major or minor in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred. A co-op in this position will work within Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
Education and Experience
- Currently attending an accredited college or university
- Advanced mechatronic and or automation concept R&D
- Additive manufacturing experience
- Test fixture concept design and fabrication - hardware and software
- Additive manufacturing standards evaluation from ASTM, SAE and ISO
- Design Tools - CREO or Solidworks
- Methods - FMEA, Six Sigma
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Analysis Tools - MATLAB, Minitab
- Hands on skills with mechanical tools, shop
- Computer Language - HTML/Visual Basic
- Proficient in Microsoft® Office Tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
