Procurement Planner

Contract Procurement Planner – Huntington, IN

Shift: 1st Shift, Temporary assignment expected to last up to 12 weeks.

Compensation: $25‑$30+/hour, based on experience.

• Create, update, and maintain purchase orders using SAP or another ERP system.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery dates, quantities, and shipment status.
• Monitor inventory levels to help ensure uninterrupted material flow.
• Track purchase orders, shortages, supplier performance, and delivery risks.
• Maintain accurate planning data, including lead times, planning parameters, and material records.
• Communicate with suppliers, freight carriers, and logistics partners to support inbound shipments.
• Prepare and distribute purchasing and inventory reports.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Logistics, Quality, and Finance teams to resolve supply issues.
• Support engineering changes, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures.

• Experience in procurement, supply chain, materials planning, inventory control, or a related manufacturing role.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP/MRP system is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.

1st Shift. $25-$30+/hour, depending on experience.
