General

Responsible for assembling products or components on a production line while ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency. This role requires the use of various tools and equipment to fasten, fit, or cut parts in accordance with detailed instructions and blueprints. Employees are expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while operating in a fast-paced production setting. The position involves frequent lifting of heavy parts with the assistance of overhead hoist equipment at designated stations.

Strong attention to detail is required to perform quality inspections and accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation. Employees will be trained to work at multiple stations across the production line, with the first day consisting of observational training.

Team members must work collaboratively to maintain production flow and meet performance expectations.

Dampers Workstation Lines 1–3, 5 Production Process Responsibilities

Employees are responsible for supporting the production process across Lines 1–3 and Line 5, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to customer specifications.

Material Handling and Inspection
  • Push carts of material to the wash platform
  • Prior to loading, inspect each part (Line 1 and select parts on Lines 2 and
    3) using a gauge to verify quality standards
  • Only approved parts are loaded into the wash machine
Washing and Initial Assembly
  • Load parts into the wash machine and monitor the process
  • Once parts exit the washer (typically in sets of three), assemble each unit with two bushings
Welding and Filling Process
  • Place assembled damper into the welder
  • After welding, transfer the part to the conveyor system
  • Move the part through the fill station where silicone is added
Plugging and Final Weld
  • At the plug station, insert a plug into the silicone fill hole
  • Weld the plug securely to complete sealing
Optional Component Installation
  • Install a tone ring when required, based on customer specifications
Packaging and Shipping Preparation
  • Package completed parts using the appropriate materials and methods
  • Coordinate with the material handler for proper storage and shipment preparation
General Expectations
  • Follow all quality standards and inspection procedures
  • Maintain safe operation of equipment and work area cleanliness
  • Ensuring production flow remains consistent and efficient
Paint Line Responsibilities

Employees are responsible for operating and supporting the paint line process while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.

Process Overview
  • Remove parts from pallets and load them into the blasting machine, which is an enclosed system used to prepare surfaces for painting
  • Monitor the blasting cycle and ensure parts are properly processed
  • Transfer parts from the blaster to the paint line conveyor system, where they move through an enclosed automated painting process
Post-Paint Inspection and Packaging
  • Unload parts after the paint cycle is complete
  • Inspect each part for defects, including paint coverage and finish quality
  • Ensure all quality standards are met before packaging
  • Pack parts using the appropriate materials and methods for shipment
