Essential Job Functions:

  • Define production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications.
  • Implement and continuously improve production processes.
  • Create documentation for production support and data collection.
  • Develop and update process Control Plans and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Develop training programs and materials for production Team Leaders, Technicians, and Operators.
  • Coordinate safety efforts with the Safety Administrator.
  • Select vendors for equipment and production materials, and develop criteria for supplied items.
  • Determine stock items and quantities for equipment spare parts and production materials.
  • Define preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and initiate work orders for issues.
  • Participate in planning safety and protection activities according to OSHA/IOSHA and other standards, ensuring training and compliance.
  • Stay updated on relevant materials through trade publications, seminars, and classes.
  • Establish area goals to support production and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes, production, and quality standards.
  • Support TS16949 and ISO
    14001 initiatives.
  • Develop or revise operational and working practices, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Education and/or Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or five (5) years of relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing, or an equivalent combination.
