Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report findings to the supervising nurse or physician.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
  • Document all care, observations, and resident interactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and resident rights policies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive resident care.
  • Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in the delivery of daily care.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote a positive and respectful care environment.
  • Participate in shift reports, staff meetings, and ongoing education and training as required.

Qualifications:

  • Current and active LPN and RN licenses in good standing with the state board of nursing.
  • Preferred:
    Prior experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate compassion and professionalism in all interactions.

Schedule and Compensation:

Full-time, every other weekend and every other holiday required.
