Job Description:

$20.88/hr, Mon - Fri, 7 AM - 3 PM. Benefits start day one! Must pass drug screen, background check, and physical prior to start.

General:
Standing while driving a forklift to prepare and manage outgoing shipments, including accurately picking, packing, labeling, staging and/or loading products onto delivery trucks. Ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed correctly and that shipments are tracked and delivered on time. Frequent forklift stepping, fast‑paced environment with heavy lifting. Attention to detail is a must. Employees will be trained across multiple stations with observational first day.

Other duties as assigned. Located at BDC (Bendix Distribution Center).

• Bin Picker – use RF scanner to pick finished goods from shelves and racks, transport to moving conveyors, then sort to shipping locations. Uses cart and stepladder for higher shelves.
• Stand‑Up Picker – use stand‑up picker and RF scanner to pick finished goods, transfer to moving conveyors, then sort to shipping locations.
• Forklift Picker – handle larger parts using a stand‑up forklift and RF scanner, transporting items on pallets to packing areas.
• Truck Packing – fill pallets with finished goods from picker positions, ensure paperwork and labels are printed and applied. Deliver up to 50‑60 boxes per hour, carrying up to 52 lbs.
• Small Package Packing – pack orders, prepare labels via computer, band boxes, handle up to 450‑500 boxes per shift weighing up to 70+ lbs.

Staple gun, utility knives, stand‑up forklifts, cherry picker forklifts, RF scanner computer/software, printers, banding machine, pallet jack, step ladder.

Eye protection, steel toe boots, anti‑fatigue mats, anti‑cut gloves.

• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
