Civil Engineer

Join our team as a Civil Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting civil engineering design projects. Your expertise will contribute to site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway components. You will be responsible for preparing engineering reports, technical calculations, design documents, and permitting packages, as well as assisting with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

• Support civil engineering design projects, including site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway components.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical calculations, design documents, and permitting packages.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in client meetings, municipal hearings, and on-site evaluations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including NYSDEC and local municipalities.
• Oversee work performed by junior engineers, drafters, and field personnel.
• Provide quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on design deliverables.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Civil Engineering design.
• Experience in site development, drainage, grading, and stormwater management.
• 2+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Expertise in site layout design, grading, drainage systems, utility routing, and sanitary system design.
• Experience with residential, commercial, and municipal projects across NYC and Nassau.
• Hydrologic/hydraulic engineering experience.

• On track to obtain a PE license.
• Experience in land development and civil design.

The work schedule is from 8:30 am to 5 pm with a 30-minute lunch break. You will be required to travel to some job sites, with timing varying depending on project needs. Enjoy a supportive work environment with the opportunity to earn 1.5 times your pay for hours worked over 40 billable hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Huntington, NY.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
