Registered Nurse Supervisor

Full-time: 3-11 / Part-time: 7-3, weekends and 12‑hour shifts available.

As an RN Supervisor you will guide and direct the activities of certified nursing assistants, RNs, and LPNs, review and modify care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, attend care planning and discharge planning reviews, and provide patient/family education.

• Providing a direct line of communication between patients, nursing staff, and physicians.
• Communicating with patients and their family members as needed, offering emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families in distress.
• Administering treatments, performing special tests, documenting treatment, and responding to patient care emergencies.
• Performing required skills (assessment, intervention) according to guidelines, forms, policies, and procedures.
• Developing care plans that demonstrate knowledge of criteria to ascertain residents’ specific needs based on health care problems.
• Carrying out care plans that demonstrate familiarity with criteria to establish resident priorities specific to anticipated outcomes.
• Implementing physicians’ orders; administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures and special tests, and documenting treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum Associate’s Degree.
• BSN preferred.
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
