State Electric Supply Co. is seeking an accomplished, highly organized
Executive Assistant
to join our Corporate Office in Huntington, West Virginia.
This is more than a traditional administrative position. It is a visible, trusted role supporting our President, Chairman/CEO, and other members of the Executive Team as they lead a growing, multi-state organization.
The successful candidate will stay several steps ahead, bring order to competing priorities, communicate with confidence, and handle sensitive matters with exceptional judgment and discretion. You will help executive leadership remain organized, prepared, and focused by coordinating schedules, meetings, travel, communications, documents, and important follow-up items.

THE OPPORTUNITYAs Executive Assistant, you will serve as a dependable resource and professional liaison for the Executive Team. You will work closely with senior leaders, internal departments, customers, vendors, professional advisors, and other business partners.

WHAT YOU’LL DOExecutive and Administrative Support
- Provide direct administrative and operational support to the President, Chairman/CEO, and other executive leaders.
- Manage executive calendars, appointments, internal and external meetings, deadlines, and related scheduling needs.
- Organize daily priorities, communications, documents, and follow-up items.
- Ensure executives are prepared with the information and materials needed for meetings and decisions.
- Anticipate administrative needs and identify practical solutions that help executive leaders remain focused on business priorities.
- Handle confidential, sensitive, and time-critical matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Meetings, Travel, and Events
- Coordinate executive meetings, leadership meetings, strategic-planning sessions, company events, and special projects.
- Prepare agendas, presentations, reports, supporting documents, and other meeting materials.
- Assist with meeting notes, minutes, action items, deadlines, and follow-up when needed.
- Coordinate business travel, including flights, lodging, ground transportation, itineraries, meeting details, and expense reporting.
- Respond calmly and efficiently to scheduling changes, travel disruptions, and other time-sensitive needs.
Executive Communications and Documents
- Draft, proofread, edit, and professionally format correspondence, reports, presentations, memoranda, agendas, and other executive-level documents.
- Screen, route, prioritize, and respond appropriately to calls, emails, mail, and other communications.
- Serve as a professional liaison between executive leadership and employees, customers, vendors, professional advisors, and other external partners.
- Prepare information and supporting materials for executive review, approval, or signature.
Records, Reporting, and Office Coordination
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems and safeguard confidential, sensitive, and executive-level records.
- Support document tracking, signature routing, contracts, compliance documentation, legal correspondence, and other business records as directed.
- Coordinate document requests and communications involving outside counsel, insurance representatives, consultants, or other professional partners when needed.
- Conduct research, collect information, and prepare reports, summaries, or background materials to support executive decision-making.
- Assist with expense reports, company credit card reconciliation, invoices, subscriptions, supplies, and other administrative transactions.
